§ Dr. Whitehead(a) The table shows the total administration and pay expenditure on Ministers' Private Offices. The figures for the years prior to 2001–02 are in cash terms and relate to the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions prior to changes in Departmental responsibilities following the last election. The forecast for 2001–02 is on a resource basis.
(b) The running costs for the Department have been published in the individual years' appropriation accounts and resource accounts, which are available in the Libraries of the House. 979W
