The Scotland Office was established in its present form on 1 July 1999. The Department's IT systems and support is provided by the Scottish Executive. Costs were as follows:

  • 1 July 1999 to 31 March 2000: £63,046
  • 2000–01: £188,594
  • 2001–02 (to date): £142,174.

The Scotland Office has let no IT contracts during this period.
