§ Dr. HowellsNone of my Department"s grant aided museums or art galleries have items in their collections that have been damaged as a result of restoration work carried out since 1990. The science of conservation and restoration is continually improving to ensure that best practices are employed. All conservation and restoration work is carried out by expert conservators.
