(2) if he will make it his policy to review data protection legislation to allow personal information held by statutory bodies to be shared with hon. Members strictly in connection with their duties in helping constituents. [42503]
§ Mr. WillsI am aware of the hon. Members" concern about the effect of the Data Protection Act 1998 on their constituency work. In consultation with my right hon. Friend the Leader of the House, I am considering what changes might be needed to the present arrangements.
