Beverley Hughes

[holding answer 18 March 2002]: The inquest into the death was adjourned after charges of murder were brought against three suspects. One of these subsequently pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to seven years' imprisonment. Another pleaded guilty to violent disorder and was sentenced to 21 months' imprisonment. The third was found not guilty of any of the charges brought against him. The coroner decided not to resume the inquest.
