§ Dr. WhiteheadThe information requested is not held centrally and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost. It is the policy of the department that thefts of equipment should be reported to the police. It is for them in conjunction with the Crown Prosecution Service to determine whether there is sufficient evidence for a prosecution to take place.
