§ Angela EagleHome Office policy is consistent with section 8 of the Civil Service Management Code which sets out the conditions under which Departments and agencies may provide for the reimbursement of relocation expenses to staff who are subject to permanent and compulsory transfers. Relocation terms must be cost effective compared with the alternatives and the level of reimbursement must reflect the reasonable additional costs necessarily incurred.
