To ask the Secretary of State for International Development what estimate she has made of the(a) financial costs and (b) benefits to her Department of the Parental Leave Directive. [42488]

Two members of DFID staff have taken up the opportunity under the provisions of the Parental Leave Directive. No estimate has been made of the financial costs to the Department.
