§ Mr. MacShaneThe UK, along with EU partners, the US, the Organisation of African Unity and the UN, continues to encourage the two parties, at both local and international level, to find a common solution to the impasse. Resident Ambassadors in Antananarivo, including the UK's, have been following developments closely, and maintain contact with representatives of both sides.
