To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer who in his Department is responsible for co-ordinating export licence applications between the Department of Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Defence and the Foreign Office. [40255]

Responsibility for co-ordinating export licence applications does not rest with the Treasury or any other department of the Chancellor of the Exchequer. Relevant Treasury teams may provide advice on the countries in question or on issues relating to international financial institutions.
