To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what the average time was spent commuting(a) predominantly by rail and (b) predominantly by road, in minutes per person, in each of the last six years in each nation and region. [61285]

The average time spent travelling to work is available from the Labour Forces Survey. The table shows the average time (in minutes) for trips to work(a) by predominantly rail and (b) by predominantly road for the autumn of the last six years by region of workplace.
