To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs how many visitors' liaison officers were dismissed from their posts in each year since 1990. [62784]

As stated in my reply to the hon. Member on 26 March 2002,Official Report, column 815W, liaison officers are employed freelance, therefore the question of dismissal does not arise.
