§ Mr. MilibandThe Secretary of State has made no such estimate. The collection of the registration fee is a matter for the General Teaching Council and I have asked the Chief Executive of the Council to write to the hon. Gentleman with information on the present position with regard to compulsory deductions. A copy of her response will be placed in the Library.
