§ Jacqui SmithWe published a comprehensive, evidence-based strategy to prevent suicide for public consultation on 26 April 2002. We are currently developing a strategy to ensure that the final agreed national suicide prevention strategy, which we plan to launch in September 2002, is publicised effectively.
