Number May 1997 to September 1999 2 October 1999 to October 2000 0 November 2000 to January 2001 1 February 2001 to September 2001 1 October 2001 to December 2001 2 All special advisers have been paid a salary in accordance with the centrally agreed arrangements applying at the time. In addition the Department meets the travel and accommodation costs required on official business.
