To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will indicate, in respect of the graph entitled UK Transport Spending on page 3 of the leaflet 2002 Spending Review, how much spending in each year is(a) subject to the decisions of devolved Administrations and (b) central Government's own investment. [holding answer 19 July 2002]: The information requested is set out in table 8.1 of the Spending Review 2002 White Paper, "Opportunity and Security for All: Investing in an Enterprising Fairer Britain".

There was a misprint in the table as set out in the White Paper. A corrected version of the table is as follows. The Treasury will be issuing a corrigendum shortly.
