Further to the Written Answers by Lord Whitty on 19 June (WA89) and on 16 July (WA137), whether they will now answer the Question with regard to administrative costs for each £1 of grant aid subsidy made under the environmental programme. [HL5400]

For each £1 of grant paid under the England Rural Development Programme the Government spend approximately 18p on technical advice to recipients and administration.
