§ Mr. DenhamAn anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) is a civil order made by a court which currently can be applied for by a local authority or the police or both combined. The table shows the number of notifications received by the Home Office of ASBOs issued in England and Wales for 2001 (latest available). There were 11 ASBO applications during this period which were refused. Where an ASBO is refused we do not hold information on the applicant.
