To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport how much was spent by tourists in each(a) Government Office region and (b) local authority in the latest year for which figures are available. [69959]

Statistics on expenditure by tourists are not available by Government Office region nor at local authority level. They are however produced according to regional Tourist Board areas. The latest data are shown in the table.
