§ Mr. JamiesonIt is for GNER to ensure that its agreement with Taxibank meets the needs of its460W passengers. Access to taxi ranks at GNER's stations is a matter for that company. Exclusive contracts can bring significant benefits for passengers, including ensuring that taxis are always available at off-peak times and that certain standards of service are met. The Government are currently considering what taxi and private hire vehicle measures might be reformed through a regulatory reform order.
