To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department how many complaints have been made about the standard of service in the Public Guardianship Office in 2001. [70241]

In the financial year 2001–02, 815 complaints were made to the Public Guardianship Office about the standard of service. A further 53 complaints were made about judicial decisions, fees, the conduct of solicitors or the provision of security bonds. This was the first full year of PGO's existence.
