To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will list the occasions on which he(a) has met and (b) plans to meet the (i) Chairman of the Strategic Railway Authority and (ii) Rail Regulator, stating for each occasion the purpose of the meeting. [64129]

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Transport has met both the Chairman of the Strategic Rail Authority and the Rail Regulator since taking up this post, to discuss a wide range of issues relating to their work. He, and other departmental Ministers, will continue to do so as and when appropriate.
