§ Lord Hunt of Kings HeathThe Department of Health has commissioned research from the University of Nottingham on the potential costs of alternative systems for compensating patients. In addition, we are awaiting a comparative costing report from Professor Posnett of York Health Consortium on a pilot resolution scheme for small value claims. We expect this to be available in the autumn.
