HC Deb 10 July 2002 vol 388 c983W
Mrs. May

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what the daily capacity of London Bridge railway station was in each of the last three years. [68360]

Mr. Jamieson

"Capacity" has several definitions. For instance, it could mean the number of potential services, trains or passengers that could pass through the station, or simply the station size. The average number of national rail passengers passing through or disembarking at London Bridge station on weekdays during the morning peak (0700–1000) in each of the last three years is:

  • 1999: 123,677
  • 2000: 129,078
  • 2001: 123,721.
