To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many care home beds have been closed in Surrey in each of the last five years. [67466]

Information on care home bed closure is not centrally collected. Information provided in the table shows the number of registered residential and nursing care beds in Surrey from 1997 to 2001 at 31 March each year.
