The breakdown by country is as follows:

  • Egypt—9
  • Iraq—8
  • Jordan—1
  • Lebanon—0
  • Libya—4
  • Mauritania—7
  • Morocco—6
  • Oman—0
  • Somalia—5
  • Sudan—9
  • Syria—2
  • Tunisia—5
  • Yemen—13.

No appeals were received from nationals of Bahrain, Comoros. Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia or the United Arab Emirates.
