To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what the average cost of(a) community transport and (b) public bus services was in (i) 1991, (ii) 1994, (iii) 1997 and (iv) 2000. broken down by region. [66786]

Information on community transport schemes is not held centrally.

On public local bus services the average cost to the passenger, in terms of pence per journey in each of the years, in each Government Office Region, is summarised.
