§ Mr. Straw[holdinganswer 2 July 2002]In so far as the agencies for which I have responsibility undertake interception activities, this is consistent with the requirements of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 and the Intelligence Services Act 1994. It is not government policy to comment on any intelligence arrangements that might exist between the UK and other countries.
