To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what recent representations he has made to the Turkish Government regarding the treatment of members of the Kurdish Rights and Freedom party in(a) Dujaibakin and (b) other cities. [64605]

On 19–20 June, a senior official from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office led a UK delegation at the first formal UK/Turkey Human Rights Dialogue, in Ankara. There was a frank and constructive discussion of the human rights situation in Turkey, the measures recently taken to improve it and what remains to be done to ensure the rights of all, including the Kurds.
