§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department for Education and Skills (Baroness Ashton of Upholland)The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) has announced its intention to review its research assessment policy. This review will be led by Sir Gareth Roberts. At the conclusion of the review, which will cover all disciplines, decisions on the future of the research assessment exercise will he taken.
