§ Mr. CabornMoney raised by the National Lottery for good causes is paid into the National Lottery Distribution Fund (NLDF). Any interest earned is added to the amount available for distribution. Money is subsequently drawn down from the fund by lottery distributors when it is needed to pay grant recipients and not before.
Commitments by the 15 lottery distributors at 31 March 2002 totalled £4,127,025,203. This is broken down as follows.
