To ask the Secretary of State for Defence when he expects the URC-138(V) communication system to be fitted to VC10 and Tri Star refuelling aircraft. [30824]

The programme to fit tactical data link systems, including URC-138(V) terminals, to RAF refuelling aircraft is expected to be completed by the end of April 2002.
