Mr. George Howarth

To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what the total amount of regional assistance grant to industry for each parliamentary constituency in the north-west of England was for each year since 1992; and if she will make a statement. [30969]

The total amount of regional assistance grant to industry is set out in the following tables. The figures are based on the 1981 ward boundaries and represent offers of Regional Selective Assistance made by the Department of Trade and Industry.
