To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many police officers from the Essex constabulary are seconded to metropolitan London. [28422]

[holding answer 18 January 2002]: I understand from the chief constable of Essex police that there are no officers from Essex police on secondment to the Metropolitan police.
