Further to the Written Answer by the Lord Privy Seal on 10 January (HL2036) concerning the design of badges for the Police Service of Northern Ireland, whether they will outline the reasons why no competitive tendering process was undertaken. [HL2279]

As I explained in my Answer of 10 January, there were a number of reasons why no competitive tendering process was undertaken, including the comparative costs involved and the nature of the work.
