[holding answer 14 January 2002]: With regard to the acceptance of euros by the House of Commons Refreshment Department, I refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave to the hon. Member for Newport, West (Paul Flynn) on 9 January 2002, Official Report, column 876W. As for the question of paying Members' salaries in euros, this is a matter for the President of the Council.
