To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what level of funding was given to each children's hospice in the last year by the New Opportunities Fund. [27250]

I refer the hon. Member to my answer to him of 6 November 2001,Official Report, columns 170–71W. We expect the first New Opportunities Fund awards for palliative care for children to be made in spring of this year.
