Stage 1 of the Ministry of Defence Police Quinquennial Review was completed last year and a copy of the Stage 1 report was placed in the Library of the House. Stage 2 has now commenced and will be completed as soon as possible. Issues relating to the UK Atomic Energy Authority Constabulary are a matter for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry.

§ Dr. MoonieNo discussions have taken place between Ministry of Defence Ministers and the Defence Police Federation regarding the size of the MOD police establishment since the events of 11 September. MOD police strength, however, is kept under constant review in the light of calls on the resources of the force.
