To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer by how much and over what period of time he expects carbon emissions to be reduced as a consequence of the climate change levy. [26510]

The climate change levy package is forecast to deliver reductions in CO₂ emissions of 5 million tonnes of carbon a year by 2010.
