To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions when he will announce a decision on the request of Central Railway plc for a hybrid Bill to implement their scheme. [26517]

The Government are considering carefully Central Railway's proposals for a hybrid Bill. We will take a view on the issues raised by proposals and respond to Central Railway in due course.
