To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland on what date she received the Scottish Executive document, "Government Expenditure and Revenue in Scotland"; and on what date she publicised its contents. [25540]

A joint Scottish Executive/Scotland Office News Release was issued, along with the Government Expenditure and Revenue in Scotland (GERS) Report, on 17 December 2001.

Consistent with normal practice, advance copies of the final text of the GERS report were available prior to publication, on 12 December.
