§ Mr. MacShaneWe continue to receive numerous representations from Members of Parliament, leading UK non-governmental organisations such as ABColombia, CAFOD and Peace Brigades International, and members of the public about human rights in Colombia. Several UK trade unions have recently expressed their concerns. I met a number of peace activists and human rights NGOs 581W during my visit to Colombia in October 2001. We continue to make representations to the Colombian Government about human rights. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office co-sponsored a Forum on Human Rights in Colombia in London on 31 October 2001.
