To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what recent discussions he has had with the First Secretary about the aerospace industry in north Wales. [35116]

My right hon Friend the Secretary of State has regular discussions with the First Minister on a wide range of issues including the aerospace industry.

I am pleased to note that Airbus have made considerable progress in reducing the number of jobs at risk. This has been due in part to the good working relationship built up between management and the unions within Airbus UK.
