§ Mr. CabornThe previous answer addressed the cost of refurbishment, which was taken to mean not merely redecoration and/or replacement furnishing but rather extensive building works. The cost of redecoration/ refurnishing of ministerial offices has been £106,382.98 in the period November 1997 to January 1998. A sum of £22,134 in 1999 and £11,200 in late 2001.
