§ Mr. TimmsThe Learning and Skills Council allocation for Newcastle upon Tyne for 2002–03 is £9.137 million, which is equivalent to £8.914 million of the authority's 2001–02 Education SSA. Figures for expenditure on post-16 education by the authority for 2001–02 are not available. The transfer of funding for the National Care Standards Commission is the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Health.
