§ Mr. Andrew SmithDetails of the Barnett formula used in the 1998 Comprehensive Spending Review were published in the Statement of Funding Policy in March 1999. An updated version of the statement was published in July 2000 showing details of the Barnett formula used in the 2000 Spending Review. The spending settlements for Scotland and for Government Departments were published in the 1998 Comprehensive Spending Review (Cm 4011) and 2000 Spending Review (Cm 4807). Details of identifiable total managed spending by function and country were published in Public Expenditure Statistical Analyses (Cm 5101) in April 2001.
