[holding answer 11 February, 2002]: There are no plans to commission further research into the incidence of eating disorders. However, details of ongoing and recently completed research projects are available on the national research register at www.doh.gov.uk/research/ nrr.htm. The Department has also commissioned a guideline on the management of eating disorders from the National Institute for Clinical Excellence.
