HC Deb 14 February 2002 vol 380 c631W
Mr. Bercow

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what has been the average annual leave entitlement of staff in her Department in each of the last four years. [31741]

Mrs. Liddell

The Scotland Office was established in its present form on 1 July 1999.

The average annual leave entitlement of staff in my Department outside the senior civil service was 27.5 days for 1999–2000, 26.7 days for 2000–01 and 26.5 days for 2001–02 to date.

The annual leave entitlement for members of the senior civil service is currently set by the Cabinet Office at 30 days and has been so for the last four years.
