To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what communications have taken place between Ministers, officials and advisers and the City of London Corporation in relation to the City of London (Ward Elections) Bill since 1997. [35658]

The City of London (Ward Elections) Bill is a private Bill and, in so far as the Government have an interest, responsibility rests with the Department for Transport, Local Government and the Regions.
