To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many units of nursing or doctor accommodation were(a) sold, (b) put up for sale and (c) withdrawn from sale in each of the last 10 years by NHS organisations in London. [34441]

The information requested is not available in respect of both property owned by NHS trusts and my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State.

The NHS Plan recognises the need for extra residential accommodation for nurses and other staff in London and we are well on course to deliver the target of 2,000 extra places for nurses and other national health service staff by July 2003.
